Ola Vida is owned and designed by Florida native Cheryl Keel.  Growing up on Florida's east coast instilled in Cheryl a love for the beach and the desire to spend every free moment with her toes in the sand.  This lifelong passion has led her to travel and experience many of the world's beaches, whose aesthetics and cultures influence her designs.

The foundation for her love of fashion was laid at a young age, when she was introduced to garment design and construction by her mother, a costumer designer.  After obtaining her degree in apparel design from the Florida State University, Cheryl moved to New York City to pursue a career in fashion.  Three years later, Ola Vida was born.  Ola Vida designs fuse the inspirations of beach culture and travel with the modern, architectural inspirations of life in NYC.

Cheryl currently keeps both the city and beach sides of her aesthetic honed by splitting her time between New York, Florida, and many tropical adventures.  Ola Vida designs are constantly evolving and being infused with new inspirations she experiences along the way.
